Family Bragging Rights

Happy Birthday Drew!  I miss being there to help celebrate.

David and Michele are full of exciting news of Daniel, Drew, and Jonathan in winning in quizzing and in sports.  Both Jonathan and Drew were able to audition for a Lifeway CD production, and Jonathan, was chosen to participate.  Apparently his voice was what was needed.

My nephew Cody and wife Amanda are rejoicing in the healthy birth of Baby Harris even though he was a little early! First time Grandparents Larry and Carolyn couldn’t be any happier.

Daughter Debbie is rejoicing that she has not been demoted at work while some of her colleagues had to accept a lower position in order to keep their jobs. Debbie is busy planning and organizing a family vacation for 15 people. And I just sit back and watch!

Daughter Denise is planning to begin teaching ESL again next fall. She has enjoyed being home this first year of her marriage to John and adjusting to being a mother of 6 children. John is struggling like most Americans in wondering how his job will be affected in the future because of economics. I miss all my grandkids and am excited about home assignment for those “9” reasons.
